I'm so sorry, but I found this article and I can't stop laughing.

Here it is! Ha!

I'm so sorry if I bring no debate here or anything, but reply how you want. Have a good laugh. Feel the terrible irony that is oozing from every word of this hilarious thing. Call me insensitive if you will and that will be true, but I can't handle myself. It's too funny.

Who cares about logic tonight, let's have fun.

They are offended from a mexican lesbian taco?

I got to a quarter of the entire article so far.

What a disaster. Is the rest of the article just them apologizing?
Here's to Journalism. How did you stumble upon this?

5432623 The Taco was actually Bi-curious. This is just part of the problem though because they have people complaining about why they called it a lesbian if it was bi-curious, people felt that the taco was a bad representation of latinos/latinas, and I forgot the other one because this is all just so stupid.

They're actually in their own words "a queer publication" so this is where its really hilarious. you'd think they would know the difference between bicurious and purely homosexual

"My main priorities in our OITNB coverage were: 1) Making sure the majority of our reviews were written by women of color. And 2) Making sure any writer who shared an identity with an episode’s feature character had first dibs on writing about that episode. I told all of our writers they needed to be willing to trade or give up their review slots, if necessary, to achieve this goal.

We were three episodes into our review schedule when we found out about OITNB’s season-ending death. At that time, I pulled reviews from two of our white writers and sought Black writers to cover the important episodes. Riese mandated that we read the widely circulated article “Orange Is the New Black is Trauma Porn for White People.” And I personally edited every review so I could make sure the opinions voiced by our white writers were in line with the voices of Black writers I was seeking out every day for their opinions on every episode."

Wow. In order to not appear racist for the general public, make sure your white writers' opinion is in line with your black writers' opinion.
Yes, of course. Totally progressive.

This... is a gold mine. I'm done reading though, this is the kind of gold mine that makes me want to drink hard at 9 in the morning. Which incidentally is the time right now where I live. And I don't even drink.

I'm going to save the webpage for later use just in case they get smart.

Aside from the excessive apology(guess they wanted to cover all their bases), the article was a hoot to read:rainbowlaugh:

Still, the lack of reviews for that movie should have made them think about what the movie was actually about. I mean, a number of critics might have gone to seen it but were so 'offended' that they wanted to write up articles on it but stopped for fear of 'offending' others, though it happened anyway.

5432625 I found it through Milo Yiannopoulos on facebook. He simply had the paragraph about the offensive bisexual latina taco and I had to read the rest of it. Just had to.

And I want to drink too. I'll drink two gallons of bleach thank you.

Lesbian latina tacos? Wut? What did I wake up to? :rainbowhuh:
