I know this is a group for hate but I was wondering if I was the only who thought Starlights backstory and reason for doing what she did was lame, so I would like to hear your guys idea for a better backstory and reason for her

I thought it was a bit weak of a reason for her to go on a hating spree for cutie marks. Granted she was a child, but still children with a firm common sense would learn not to just give up when a friend moves off. More importantly she never decided to just find her friend when she had the chance too? And then there's the aspect of her parents, didn't they teach her any kind of values about friends or anything?
