Well, myself and a few other members of staff here at the Goodfic Bin have a new group primed and ready for that very purpose. If you're looking for a chance to test your skills in some entertaining and regular challenges and contests, the Hazardous Writing Materials and Challenges is a group that features weekly updated prompts, organized contests, and a sociable environment.

It's a great place to go if you want a competitive environment to craft a fic worthy of the bin, hone your skills, or strut your stuff (you darn showoff).
