So, I've noticed that there is still activity here from time to time, so let me ask anyone willing to listen. Just what would you like out of this group? I didn't have much planed when I made it and so while people seemed to like the idea in general they didn't really not know what do either. So, from a group like this, just do you want? Weekly prompts? Contests? Some other thing that I can think of? Give me your ideas and I'll see what I can do

Quite frankly, I believe the group is fine as it is, quiet and all. This group is what it should be: a repository of stories written around ideas that would go into a given genre but are tried on another, or stories so out there that people would never find them unless they were archived here. If anything, I believe we just need our members to remember to send weird stories here.

Although what makes a story weird might be in the eyes of the beholder. Consider my own, "Not Really A Mare": I intentionally went and picked up the most popular concept in pornographic fantasy (a harem world), and carved out as much appeal as I could find (without going into some Womyn fantasy), leaving me with a sad setting were people have the obligation to fuck. Somebody reading between the lines could notice that my setting continues to be a Perv's Paradise (females are required by law to have a lover, while males can choose theirs, are paid by their lovers, and can even start living off the government if they feel that their work is interfering too much with their sex life), but I employed every trick in the literary hat to make it unappealing. Weird, isn't it?
