after having fully regained her breathing control, slides up off the ground.

She wabbles a little and plants her hooves down and takes one last look at her surroundings.

She dives into her desk and picks up the Joyboy... just as she pick it up, the screen blinks red.

Scarlet started to reply, but then lowered her hoof. Star had been hurt, hurt bad enough that he couldn't be here, and she couldn't help but think that if she'd done something different, he might have been alright.
This self doubt continued until a thought came to her, they'd.... saved the town, or at least a portion of it. Working together, they'd accomplished something that the adults hadn't been able to. This boost brought the smile back to her face. "We saved ponies though, yeah a few of us got hurt, some kind of badly," Scarlet paused for a second looking at her own injuries as well as the ones on her friends. "But we didn't let anypony get seriously injured. Even Star should be back soon enough, and we... we could always take the lesson to Star, and the others at the hospital." Scarlet suddenly suggested as the thought came to her.

A wide grin was plastered on her face at the prospects of coming up with a new story, even though this was the first time it'd be acted out. Never-the-less her mind was already plotting various scenarios, plot lines, and gauging their believability.
When she got next to them, Scarlet asked "are we all going to group up?"
