Reaching the school, Scarlet tries the doors only to find that they were locked. Glancing around, she found an unlocked window and flew into the dark room. She began to fly about the classroom searching for her bags, not noticing Nova, which she hasn't really had the chance to meet.

Nova had fallen asleep after Lunar left. He didn't notice when Scarlet flew in but he could hear her movement around the classroom. He opened one eye to see who it was. What he saw was a....pony? He couldn't tell. He wasn't really the sharpest tool in the shed. He opened hie other eye and watch the figure move around the classroom for a bit.

Scarlet let out a excited gasp as she found her bag, and aside from not being where she'd left it seemed alright. The only things missing were the stone and note that Lunar had taken with her. Setting the bags on her back, behind the wings, Scarlet got back up and brought herself to a low hover. As she turned around to fly out of the room, she saw Nova lying down on the ground and froze. She stared at the celestial wolf, unsure what it was doing here, whether or not it was safe, and if she should start screaming.

Scarlet cringed back some as the wolf sat up, but when Nova didn't do anything more, the fear subsided into slight curiosity. "N-nice... wolf?" She said gradually hovering towards the window.

At first all Scarlet did was stare wide eyed at Nova. Then after a few minutes of that, she started to quiver and shake. This worsened until finally she squealed and took off not towards the window, but towards Nova.
"Ohmygosh you're a lupus minor and you can talk! That's so cool!" She almost yelled as she practically tackled Nova in a hug. She began to pet Nova, and scratch behind the ears as she continued to rattle off questions and repeated statements of how cool this was. "This is so cool! How'd you get here? Were you with the other Lupus minors that attacked. You're not evil right?...Nah of course not, if you were you'd tried to hurt me already, but you haven't and that make this so much cooler. Where are you from? How'd you learn to talk? Were those other Lupi your friends? Why did you all decide to attack Ponyville?..." The questions and statements went on for a moment, all the while Scarlet continued to pet Nova, until finally one last question escaped her muzzle. "Do you have a name?"

Scarlet nodded and gave Nova a final good few pets before readjusting her saddlebags and taking off back out the window. She flew through the night air without any real rush, enjoying the calm night after such an eventful day. As she arrived back in the hospital, she saw that Cherry had returned, Little had been put to bed, and Star seemed to have been patch up.
"Hey everypony," Scarlet said in a calm voice.

The doctor went over to find the nearest nurse pony, who had brought in several medicines that Zecora had dropped off earlier.

"Miss Zecora is the Zebra's name who brought in these medicines. Did you know she speaks entirely in rhyme?" The Nurse pony said, offering the cart of medicines to the doctor.

Dr. Stable examined the various potions and other medicines for something that would help Cherry Swirl's broken wing. "Ah, here we go! Drink this, Ms. Cherry Swirl. I think this one will do the trick." He hooves the medicine to Cherry Swirl. "Now, tell me if you experience any side effects."

Scarlet returned the smiles as she excitedly opened the book. "Ooh, how about this one. It's called Sena, it's about this world that was really far in the future, and then something bad happened and everypony's in the old times again saying that the technologies of old are bad." Scarlet explained to give a little background to the story before opening the large tome and starting the tale.

The first chapters started with a group of adventuring friends who went about helping the kingdom, but then things took a on a twist when they stumbled into special cave. A chunk of one of the advanced cities from the past had fallen underground, and in the ruins they found a young mare who actively used the forbidden technology. In the last chapter they read, the young mare, named Sena, helped the group of friends save a town from a terrifying plague using the old technology she possessed. But in the process, the kingdom became aware that somepony was using the ancient forbidden technologies of old, and the kings advisor (who at this point seemed to be one of the main bad guys) sent some ponies to 'take care' of them.

Hours passed as Scarlet read the story, her excitement growing with each paragraph, but even her enthusiasm started to wane as the clock neared midnight.

He glanced at the clock and saw it was getting close to midnight. "Scarlet maybe you should get some sleep. It's getting late." He said.

With her book out of harms way, and still oblivious about Cherry's jealousy, Scarlet took off her glasses and curled up where she was, which was right next to Star. Before he could protest, she already had her head on his chest and was half asleep.
