I've been making MLP stories for a while, and I think I've hit an inspirational dead-end.

And now I seem to be drawn towards making Simpson fanfics [nothing clop] and I'm worried people will start to lose interest in my stories and even dislike or unfollow.

I will return to work on Dark Deception: Friendship is Magic tho.

But I feel like a vacation, what do you guys think?

I lost inspiration for a while too. It happens. Sometimes you gotta take a break to refuel your creative juices. That's how I came up with the idea to cross Gen 4 over with my original story, Dragon of Grace. It provided an opportunity for Twilight and her friends to see things from a realistic and nuanced perspective, which isn't something I've actually seen explored very often. Inspiration tends to to strike in unexpected ways and places. Just try not to overthink it. There's always a chance something will come along with minimal effort on your part. It's been known to happen.
