Perhaps a bit too enthusiastic about her work, she takes corpses and feeds them to the engine which powers the flames of Former Hell.

She was the one who alerted the Youkai to the threat by sending Evil Spirits above ground, hoping they would come there to investigate and knock sense back into her friend's brain.
What she did not expect was a human to arrive instead— and certainly not with a power this vast.

Despite her obsession with her job and the dead, her amiable sentiment is quite clear upon her defeat.

Even Reisen is easier. And she is first of the two reasons I can't 1CC IN on Hard.

Indeed. It took a couple of attempts to dodge her Danmaku.

She seems to be the more responsible one out of herself and Utsuho. I personally think that Rin is Utsuho's immediate superior. If it came down to any argument, Rin's word would be taken over Okuu's and when it comes down to ranks, Rin will give orders to Utsuho, although practically, they're pretty equal in the operation.

Her job is pretty grim, but luckily, she's able to take it in her stride and not suffer any mental damage as a result. I don't think an insane Rin would be a pretty sight, especially since it leaves Utsuho as the responsible one.

Her involvement in Subterranean Animism directly saved the entire world from a nuclear armageddon, showing that despite everything, she's one of the more heroic characters, even if she was only acting out of concern for her friend's sanity and career moves rather than the world itself. She doesn't care, she just wants a world to continue working in.

This is only based from what I know, though.
