Does anybody have any particular tips on promoting or just gaining notoriety? I thought I understood this a few months back, good times to post story updates and how to make appealing synopses, etc. but it no longer seems to be working as well as it could. What are the arcane secrets I'm missing?

Usually between 7-9am where I am, as it's roughly 4-8pm in the US there. I notice that most users are on at that time of day.

are you placing your stories in all aplicable groups?
you need to be in all groups you have even a slight interest.

grabbing attention is to be all over the place.

the synopsis that works for one story doesn't work for the next.
maybe it is that your stories are growing bland, just because you've been kicking the same old hore a few times too many?

replying to questions in forums may be a means to get a look or two?
