anything i should know about the hero like power limits

Has anyone tried the idea of an Earth Pony whose special talent is channeling Magical Energy into Superpowers, much like Superman does with yellow sun radiation?

All Earth Ponies are connected to the land, what if for a certain Pony, that meant having the Background Magic of the world itself flowing into them & enhancing their physical abilities far beyond what Anypony could match, even with Spells?

Do werewolf powers count as superpowers, or are they not considered humans/ponies?

Also, does qigong count as a superpower?

What if they are neither human nor equestrian? I have some interdimentional OC's in a fic I'm writing...
