It seems like every FIMFiction update shrinks down the size of the avatars on a user's info card. Without a magnifying glass you will get more and more trouble to make out the details. I mean, why do we even have 256x256 images if they are nowhere to be seen?
To fix that I've written a small script that displays a nice and fancy full-sized avatar when you hover over the teeny-tiny one that is the current 88x88 one.
3691022 If you genuinely care, just make it the same as all the avatars on the site. 3 pixels padding, 5px border radius, rgba(0,0,0,0.2) border (close enough)
5683220 This userscript isn't working anymore as the new website layout has changed the website overlay. Avatars are no longer 64x64, so that's fine too.

Wow that looks like total shit

Hmm, yeah, that glow effect doesn't really look as great now that you say it. Too clashy with the new layout. What do you think?

Installed and enjoyed.

Alright, done so.
3690764 Ah, good ol' Knighty, insulting people for not being him.
Does it still work? Seems to do nothing for me.

5696423 I wish it showed a 256x256 avatar, though, where you hover over a smaller one. Could you maybe consider doing that?

If you really want it so much, just right click on the image, pick "Show graphic", and replace the 128 in the URL with a 256.
5696898 You probably mean 64 with 256. Yeah, it works. I just thought that is what this UserScript is for.

Replacing any number works. I thought you were referring to the avatars on user profiles.
