One suggestion I put forward to another group I'm apart of (Game of Thrones) was to put up a new banner to help attract new members. I think we should do the same here. Either design or find a banner that gives the essence of Dragon Age whilst (this part is completely optional) having some link to Equestria (say a group shot of the Mane 6 in Dragon Age armour;
1) Twilight as a Human Mage
2) Applejack as a Human Grey Warden
3) Rainbow Dash as a Dalish Elf Ranger
4) Fluttershy as a City Elf Fighter
5) Rarity as a Human Moderate Templar
6) Pinkie as a Chaotic (but still Templar controlled) Elven Mage)

Come on, we all know that Rarity would be a human noble.

That's all I really got, everyone else seems fine though I'm not sure how much Rainbow would want to hang back and shoot arrows, I'd probably say switch her and Fluttershy since

1. Rangers are commonly seen to have animal type ability's (whether recruiting or damaging more)

2. It would let her stay out of most of the fey

3. Rainbow would just wanna get in there and kick some butt, and that would just fit her.

Also, not 100% on Pinkie being a mage, maybe a City Elf too since that would let her try and spread some cheer among the downtrodden populous.

Just my opinions though.

3684608 Yeah, you're right about Fluttershy and Rainbow, I just thought a Dalish would fit Rainbow as she may be loyal but also has a rebellious streak that would fit in well with the Dalish. As for Rarity, well she would be among the Nobility, but what's to stop her being a Templar as well?

But anyway, the main topic is the Banner. Do you have any ideas we could throw into the mix about what kind of banner we should have?

Well, no reason she couldn't be a Dalish Fighter, but that's off topic.

As for what to have on it, I'm not sure, maybe some ponified (or normal depending on the status of the Mane 6) darkspawn since that's what really sets Thedas apart from most other fantasy worlds.

Place them somewhere awesome, like the Wilds or Ostagar.

Overall though, I'm not sure, though I do know where you could go to try and see if it could get done. There's a group dedicated to making banners, we could ask them.

Also, simply adding an icon would probably really help, might I suggest something like the Warden's logo, or Kirkwall's insignia?

You know that the eye represents not the Chantry, but the Seekers right?

The Chantry's symbol is the sunburst (which I am unable to display because it's white, and all the images of it on the wiki are clear...)

According to the wiki

The sun represents the fundamental goal of the Chantry: if all lands under the sun raise their voices in the Chant, then the Maker's eye will turn back to his Children.

If we were to have anything from the Chantry, make it the Inquisition, in honer of it almost being here

Anyway though, yeah you should talk to a mod before we go any further, they're the ones who need to actually, you know put the things up anyway.

Mane cast as Dragon Age races

Twilight - Mage of the Fereldan Circle, armoured in light maile armour with an open helm wielding a sword staff and casting a spell of ice from her finger tips.
Spike - Dwarf Rogue, armoured in hard boiled Leather and wielding two short swords and a crossbow slung over his shoulder
Applejack - Grey Warden Human armoured in Full plate armour wielding a round shield and hand-and-a-half sword.
Rainbow Dash - Dalish Elf Fighter armoured again in Full Plate armour wielding a flaming two handed sword.
Fluttershy - Dalish Elf Ranger armoured in leather and maile, with a traveling cloak billowing in the wind behind her, drawing back a Longbow with an arrow knocked and ready to shoot, carrying a short sword at her waist and by her side, a snarling white wolf (now Angel shows his true colours!)
Pinkie Pie - City Elf Rogue armoured in padded leather wielding two scimitars with a mischievous grin on her bright face.
Rarity - Human Noble Templar assigned to escort Twilight, though unlike most Templars she is more open minded when it comes to certain mages, its just Blood magic she despises. Armoured in bright and shiny Templar armour wielding two longswords.

Although I think it would be much better if the characters had more of a 3D look to them rather than flat paintbrush paintings (not a criticism or an insult, just an observation), and the characters should reflect the Dragon Age universe more than MLP, so say Applejack as a Grey Warden, go all the way and have her be a Grey Warden, not a cowgirl/knight mash up.

So something like this.......
