Seat of the pants is when you sit down, and write. You don't use an outline or anything, you just sit down, and write whatever comes to mind. This is basically 'etc.', in the idea that if you're writing something that has nothing to do with a story, and is just a random, one-shot idea, just type it up and put it in here.
