The first trailer I saw had that AI. After the trailer I concluded that this movie was about GlaDos helping humans to pilot mechas to fight Godzilla.

Saw some YouTube trailers a couple weeks ago. I think it's a take off of Neon Genesis Evangelion, except with way more Gurren Lagann and less emo introspection.
