King Sombra's Fantastic Movie 6: War Of The Sombras · 7:42pm Oct 11th, 2022
King Sombra’s Fantastic Movie 6: War of the Sombras is an animated “film.”
Plot: King Sombra is visited by a version of himself from another dimension, Good King Sombra, who is just like him, but perfect in every way. When it becomes clear that Good King Sombra is far more popular with everyone, regular Sombra decides to go to war with him to prove he’s the best Sombra.
Why This Movie Will Cause A War
- Terrible animation with numerous errors.
- Awful dialogue and writing.
- It’s supposedly the 6th film in the series, but it was found after the 7th film which is strange and bizarre.
- Hideous voice acting.
- It makes use of the “character feels like a third wheel and becomes jealous of a newcomer” cliche.
- Good King Sombra is perfect in every way, to the point where it gets quite obnoxious. He is also a very bland and paper-thin character.
- The other Sombras who appear in the climax, including Queen Sombra, Muppet Sombra, Mecha Sombra, Cat Sombra, Geek Sombra, Normal Sombra, and EG Sombra, are all annoying in their own ways.
- It’s four hours long, which is absolutely ridiculous.
- Good Sombra shows up at the Crystal Castle for literally no reason at all.
- Gay Sombra acts as nothing more than an offensive one-dimensional stereotype of gay people.
- The film’s poster makes it seem like the other Sombras (besides regular Sombra and Good Sombra) have a much larger role than they actually do.
- The other Sombras don’t add anything at all to the main plot and are just there so the movie can last four whole hours.
- As usual, the humor is horrendous, and all of the jokes are either offensive or just plain stupid.
- The ending is anticlimactic, as all that happens is Sombra blows all of his counterparts up and declares himself to be the best.
- The design of Equestria Girls Sombra (a “human” version of Sombra) is just plain creepy!
- Some animation is even recycled from previous KSFM films, showing that the creators are lazy.
- There’s tons of filler, such as the scene where Radiant Hope eats pancakes with Good Sombra.
- Sombra straight up murders all of his counterparts, which is very cruel even for him.
- Good Sombra doesn’t really seem to be all that good considering he appears to purposely mock and provoke regular Sombra just because he knows it’s making him mad.
- Radiant Hope is rather unlikable in this movie as she abandons Sombra for Good Sombra even though she should clearly be able to tell that his feelings are hurt.
Redeeming Qualities:
- The plot is kind of creative.
- Some of the visual effects are better than those seen in previous KSFM films.
- Sombra’s feelings can actually be considered somewhat justifiable given that he gets dumped by Radiant Hope.
- The climax, in which the titular war occurs, is very exciting to watch.
