Brainstorming: Additional characters for the MLP Deckbuilder Game · 8:54pm Sep 29th, 2022
Because my brain always needs something to work on: I've been brainstorming for some new characters for "Adventures in Equestria," the My Little Pony Deckbuilding Game. Some of these ideas are sillier than others, but they all make me smile, so I thought I'd share 
Each character has a character ability, a unique card, and an associated pet. I don't have all the details worked out, especially the specific numbers, but here's what I've got so far:
Cheerilee
Ability: all players get a +2 info token.
Card: Classroom Instruction
"Crusader" cards cost 2 resources less
Pet: Mr. Whiskers XII
Art: a classroom hamster, dead in his cage.
I'm sure he's fine.
Action: Cheerilee may draw a card, then bury a card from her hand in the discards.
Big Mac
Ability: ???
Card: ???
Pet: Ryder
Art: Older dog
The latest of his line to watch over Sweet Apple Acres, though he couldn't do it without the help of his daughter Winona.
Action: ???
(Alternately: pet is the farm's barn cat. Big Mac likes him because he's quiet.)
Zecora
Ability: Transform up to 2 sugarcubes to green sugarcubes
Card: Doggerel Verse
"Of all the poets / these are the worst:
Those who rely / on doggerel Verse."
Ability: Gain 1 help for every pair of cards played this turn that rhyme. Cards with the same name do not rhyme.
Pet: Upinde Wa Muva
Art: colorful Madagascar day gecko
Muva helps keep Zecora company as she works on her potions.
Ability: ???
...I would also love to come up with something for Octavia and Vinyl Scratch, but the onlyy thing that comes to mind would be to give Tavi a pet cricket named "Viola" *rimshot*
Any feeedback? Or thoughts on how to fill in the blanks?
