Question of the Week #71 · 3:28am Sep 14th, 2022
Hello everyone and welcome back to the question of the week. This week will be an interesting question.
So last weekend I was looking through some of my unpublished stories, deleting some of the ones that I didn't feel like working on anymore and as I was looking through them, I came across an old unpublished story that aside from a few things (along with needing more telling and less showing, which would need to be addressed) was nearly complete.
This story was along the lines of my Abandoned by Pinke story, a story that was an mlp crossover of the creepypasta: Abandoned by Pinkie, except this one was for the creepypasta: Clockwork.
Now while the creepypasta was basically a bad ripoff of Jeff the Killer (a creepypasta that admittedly wasn't written very well in my opinion), the story I wrote had a few differences.
- While in the story, Amethyst (who takes on the role of Natalie Oulette from the original creepypasta) did have to deal with an abusive family, I had changed it so that her brother was actually very supportive of her and was one of the threads helping her stay sane... That was until he passed away from appendicitis (unlike in the original creepypasta where Natalie's brother turns on her and sexually assaults her... Yeah, it's messed up).
- There was some connection between the events of the story and my OC, the Smiling Stallion (this was long before I cancelled that story), with Amethyst becoming one of his many followers at the end of the story.
So my question is, if I were to go back and finish the story, edit it and try to add some more changes to it, would you read it or not?
I'm not sure if I'd ever do it, but I figured I'd ask.
Thank you all so much for reading this blog. I hope that you all stay safe and have a great day.
Honestly, I’ve never been one for creepypasta.
