Alright, I’m bored. Have some random lore dump · 8:16pm Aug 4th, 2022

So, I’m currently working on the BF rewrite

However, I kinda want to explain the lore for The Fugitives and RBGY (Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow)

Let’s start with The Fugitives, which, fun fact, was going to be named Corporatocracy. But I changed it, cause it didn’t make sense.

The Fugitives takes place in a dystopian world where Starlight Glimmer took down the four princesses and M6, and made Equestria her own. Canterlot was destroyed, so Ponyville was made them into a very walled off society. A literal walled of society. Around Ponyville (which will probably be renamed) is a massive wall (creatively referred to as “The Wall”) that no one is allowed to cross. The city has also entered a sort of “Industrial Revolution”, as fossil fuels are becoming ever more prevalent, resulting in a large cloud of smog hanging over Ponyville.

The social aspect of Ponyville is also one to examine. There is no Upper, Middle, or Lower Class. There’s just Starlight and Citizens. Citizens themselves are classified based on their job, and are limited to social circles only within their job. For example, a soldier can’t date say a baker or a miner, and vise versa. Another thing is that a child born into a job is forced to have that job. So if two miners have a child, then that child has to grow up to be a miner.

This makes life essentially a gamble for how easy it is. Soldiers and other military occupations are usually cared for with the trade off being you have to serve until a certain age, then you can retire. Shopkeepers and other jobs that provide services like spa workers, painters, etc. can interact with any job class, though they can’t form bonds or friendships. Miners, farmers, lumberjacks, factory workers, etc. have the highest death counts, but the highest payout.

As for Starlight herself, she isn’t really a cruel rulers. Or well, she’s cruel, but she’s not mass executing law breakers in the streets. With this in mind, outside of safer working conditions and social mingling protests, most are simply content with their new government.

Outside of Ponyville, it’s mostly become a large jungle-ish place due to the nature being untamed and parts of the Everfree expanding (though, there are still wide open areas). This is where most of our story takes place. There’s not much out here, aside from old ruins of towns and such. Think Fallout, but without the mutated beasts or anything.

There are towns out here that are able to operate separate from Ponyville, and some Ponyville soldiers, dubbed Gridrunners, usually come to these towns. The towns and Ponyville usually have an uneasy truce or a kill on sight relationship, as these outside towns are very weary of being taken over themselves. A major town that appears is Maplewood, originally made for my FoE idea. So far, it’s under development.

And that’s all for The Fugitives as of now. Now, onto RBGY.

Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow is more of a concept idea if anything. Contrary to its name, there are ten separate factions.

Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow; The Major nations

Purple, Pink, Brown, and Orange; (The Minor nations

White and Black; (Nomadic factions)

The world takes place on a flat, square world that is just a giant desert. At the edge of the world are unclimbable mountains that go around the square platform. Past the mountains, tho it’s never said in the story, is an endless void that matches the sky’s current color. Think of a game, where when you get the end of the map and the void is just the sky going on forever.

And that’s it. Ten factions on a desert platform floating on an endless void, fighting it out for no reason. Again, this is a very very VERY conceptual story. And I’m unsure if I’ll ever write it out. But, we’ll see.

Anyway, that’s all. I’m gonna go work on those rewrites now. Bye lol
