About the Professor Spike Universe... (Updated version) · 1:08am Jul 8th, 2022
Did the one comment chain totally ruin the experience for everyone else, or is no one really all that interested in my version of the thing?

I did some checking on views...the views for the Professor Spike Universe have not been good outside of chapter updates. I'm almost thinking of canceling this project and doing something very different. It's becoming clear that unless I somehow do a crossover thing, any story that involves Cozy Glow as a main character is going to get hate dumped on just because I like spoiling Cozy Glow and trying to give her some redemption where as others are like "No! Cozy Glow is evil! No ifs, ands, or buts!" and don't even try to consider giving the pink pegasus filly a second chance. Hello, counter intuitive much?
That kind of attude is exactly why I wish there was a tenth aired season of the show as a tenth season would've fixed SOOOOOOO MANY PROBLEMS! I've stated time and time again that I believe Cozy Glow was done dirty by the show's writers simply because season 8's finale and season 9 for the most part was rushed out the door. I've even given my whole two cents on the obvious contradictions within season 8 itself. Yet, no matter how much I say "Cozy Glow should've never been made a villain and this is why", not a single person wants to listen to it to it, and instead just continually jump on the bandwagon of hating Cozy Glow.
You all disgust me when it comes to that. If you're going to hate spam stories where I try to redeem Cozy Glow or not make her a villain in the first place for no other reason then that's the popular opinion on the internet, then you all are not even thinking for yourselves. I do my best to convince the lot of you that Cozy Glow should've never been a villain and yet, whenever I try to redeem her or not make her a villain in the first place, unless there's some other factor involved like having her not be a villain in a world where she's Twilight's daughter like in the "My Little Pony: Changeling of Friendship" universe or she totally loses her memory like in "Filly Amongst Dragons", then you all will hate bash the story I'm making.
If I do end up canceling the professor Spike Universe, then I will be moving onto the Video Game crossover saga next. And there, Cozy Glow will be one of the major characters. But I'm forewarning you people: If you start hate spamming the first story, I will revoke the submission and make you all wait until I'm fully one hundred percent done with the entire project before I repost the first story alongside the rest of the project. So unless you feel like suffering a story drought, DON'T DO A HATE SPAM.
Uh…I don’t. I liked a story where she was just suffering from mental problems and Tirek pushing her down the dark path. Gets redeemed and lives HEA (happily ever after).
To me, how an author handles Cozy, is up to them. And the way the author wants their readers to see her is up to them. Like it is your choice for redeeming Cozy.

You would probably be one of the very few people who are like that on this site who actually try to do some critical thinking.
Me personally, if I had my way, Cozy Glow would've never become a villain in the first place. Because there's just no prior evidence for it. If the writers were going for a twist villain plot, they did a terrible terrible job of it as Cozy Glow only really appears in two of the season 8 episodes before the finale.
