For two weeks, Sunset Shimmer; personal student of Princess Celestia; had been struggling. Her thoughts distracted by the disappearance of her brother Sunburst. Sunset had thought she had been a good Big Sister to her brother, but apparently, he had thought otherwise.

It was one day while she had been dwelling in the thoughts around her brother, that she came across a young Twilight Sparkle. After a quick conversation with the unicorn filly, Sunset decided that fate was giving her a second chance to be a good big sister.

But fate wasn't only having its eye on her. For Sunset's fate wasn't the only thing being rewritten. For forces beyond comprehension have decided that a sudden end to a life not only was to be undone, but the victim was to be given a re-do in an effort to undo their own death; a death that should not have happened.

While trying to plan out the "Season 0" of this re-rewrite, I quickly realized that I could tie this story in with my other stories. Long-time viewers would know I like to insert my own OCs into the mix to tie them all together into one big, connected multiversal timeline. Of all the OCs I've shown off, one from What if Emziko was Cannon? was one who showed up with no explanation, or fanfare.

But when I was planning out this re-reboot, I knew I had the opportunity to give said OC a backstory in one of my fics, and that I also had the opportunity to do it in a very unique way. That when combined for my desire to give this re-reboot a title that would pop more than just calling it something along the lines of "My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - The Re-reboot", the pieces fell into place pretty quickly.

As such, the subtitle of this fic was born; "Rewriting Fate" clicked into place so fittingly, as the topic of "When Friendship Shimmers" was already about rewriting Sunset Shimmer's fate in the FiM generation. It made it easy for this re-reboot to throw the OC from What if Emziko was Cannon? and their backstory into the mix as well to really sell the idea that this time, fate is being rewritten for more than Sunset alone.

Now first of all, you do NOT need to read What if Emziko was Cannon? to enjoy this story; in fact, this story can be enjoyed totally stand-alone. You also don't need to read this story to enjoy What if Emziko was Cannon? what-so-ever; this story won't even enrinch that story because the OC from the Emziko story that's getting a backstory in this one, I do not have any plans to bring them back in the Emziko story a second time. In fact, until this project is finished, I don't plan on the OC from the Emziko story that's getting a backstory in this fic to appear in a different fic from the Emziko story.

And second of all, there is one headcannon I'm being upfront about, and that headcannnon is that Sunset Shimmer and Sunburst are siblings in some compacity. Of course, just like in the original re-boot, they will be halfsiblings. And for those who were fans of the original reboot and know the other headcannons I used, I ask that you do NOT spoil them for the new readers of this story. If I see any comments spoiling the headcannons from the original re-boot, I will delete them no questions asked.

Finally, even if you have read the original re-boot, I ask that you give this re-reboot a fair shake, especially because I am going to do my absolute best to clean up a lot of the continuity that was confusing people within Season 0 as well as knock out all of the backstory for this version of Sunset early as well. And that's ontop of having everyone come to grips with the new parts of the continunity. Yeah I'm giving myself a tall order here, but I think I'm capable of delivering it all.

I guess if there's only one other thing to note, while there is mention of death within Season 0, no one is planned to die in this re-reboot. The only time death is actually present...well, that will be the set-up to the new version of the story coming to fruition. You can probably already guess which OC is getting a back story based on the tags.

What if instead of Spike running into Garble during Dragon Quest, Spike ran into a different dragon?

What if said dragon was actually a dragoness?

What if instead of being red, she was green?

And what if, this green dragoness...hit it off with him in a good way?

Emziko was apparently born from the mind of Lauren Faust's own daughter (which also explains why I didn't put down the "original character tag"), but while Faust says that the character is canonically Spike's girlfriend, she was never actually in the show.

But what if she actually was in the show? What if she was truly cannon?

This fic is here to explore the idea of Emziko being truly cannon to the actual show. How will things change with Emziko around? You'll just have to read to find out~

Since the effects of "The Big Switcharoo" spell were permanent, Dragon Spike finds himself in an altnernate reality, where Dragons were the majority race, ponies were hostile, and the nation was called "Brimstone". Join the purple dragon we all know and love, as he manovours through countless obsicles, all while dealing with a dragon princess who's smitten with him beyond all belief. Strange thing is, he's smitten with her too.

Welp, here it is: My actual long-term side project, and what the smaller side-project was leading up to. This story is going to be a huge undertaking in more ways than one. The first part of that, is that nothing in this story will have a direct tie in with some episode from the MLP:FiM universe. But the second part and the bigger reason this will be such a huge undertaking, is that after the first chapter, I plan on every chapter having a word goal of twenty-five hundred. You read that correctly: For the first time, one of my story projects is going to be pushed beyond my ordinary limits and I'll be aiming for 2500 words per chapter. This story is an experiment to see if I can actually do something like this, and if people will actually enjoy the fact that I'm finally pushing past my comfort zone. If this story becomes well liked, you may just see future story projects from me having this same twenty-five-hundred-word goal. So...if you enjoy this attempt to make stories more in-depth, make sure you hit the like button. I'm setting a like goal of twenty-five likes, meaning if this story can get twenty-five green thumbs up, then twenty-five hundred words will be a standard moving forward.

We all know about Spike, dragon assistant to Twilight Sparkle. But what we never saw got to know about was Spike, a pony conclier assigned to Twilight Sparkle. Confusing yes? Turns out, there's an alternative universe to Equestria called Brimstone, and in this world, everything we thought we knew about our favorite ponies had some strange...counterparts.

And now, these two Spikes will find out just how similar yet different their worlds really are. And maybe, there might become a reason for their switch to remain permanent.

Looks like I'm keeping the isekia'd Spike train rolling. Seriously, there's been a trend of MLP:FiM's Spike being isekia'd into all sorts of things. But I doubt anyone's thought to isekia Spike into an alternate version of Equestria known as Brimstone.

Yeah the tags are basically spelling out what the heck you can expect. I shouldn't even try to hide my plans for this side project. So I won't bother. Just look at the tags and tell me what you think I have planned. Because I've officially gone mega crazy creative mode with how I'm tackling this.

Pray for Spike the Dragon's sanity; because it might not last long. Also, the teen rating is just to be absolutely safe, even if "kissing" isn't a mature warning tag. I...consider the act of kissing to at least be something that not everyone and their dog should be allowed to read.

As a side note, I couldn't find an outright pic of a Pony version of Spike & the dragon version of Spike we all know and love in one picture. So, I opted for the current picture instead. If someone out there wants to make a picture of Pony Spike & Dragon Spike in the same picture, or if someone finds on, link me to what you made/found, and I replace the current cover.

I may end up just keeping this one around for a sequel, as this is only meant as a prequel story to a much bigger side project.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

Spike & Smolder are fully in love with each other, but their adventures have only just begun. Ember; the new Dragon Lord; has been coming down to Ponyville a lot recently for whatever reason. And that's not the only concern; during the changeling incident, Wildson Mandoli had sent the energy being known as Zanth flying and things are on high alert in case the thing born from White Flame's anguish and pain from his past returns. And that's still not all; more clues get unearthed from Canterlot's Parish District that further prove that the Parish District is really White Flame's old hometown. Between Ember's vists to Ponyville, Zanth still at large, and the continued investigation of the Parish District, there are mysteries abound as Spike & Smolder as well as the elements of harmony continue their adventures.

The sequel is here! While this story not only is the proper sequel to My Little Pony: When Friendship Shimmers - Reboot but is also technically the sequel to A Draconic Hearth's Warming however that story won't be relevant for the first few chapters. You'll know when the one-shot becomes relevant because then Spike & Smolder will have wedding rings on, rather then them talking as if they are only engaged. Also, it's very recommended that you know everything from the prequel before you even touch this story. Thankfully, there's no planned gore this time, only death. So story will stick to being teen rated this time.

Though I use the term "death" very loosely. Can you call it death if what you plan to kill off isn't even alive in the first place? I'm still adding the tag just to be safe though.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

This story is an interlude bridging the gap between My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot and the planned proper sequel My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers. While this story is mostly only connected to the final chapter of My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot, it contains a very important plot point for My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers that won't become relevant for the first few chapters of the proper sequel story. As such, while you can safely overlook this story for plot purposes for now, and instead look at it as a great holiday story to enjoy this Christmas Eve; you will need to keep it in the back of your mind for when My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers launches in 2024.

I checked. This is officially Fimfiction's FIRST actual Hamtaro and MLP crossover fanfic. Fun fact. The Hamtaro Anime was my childhood. Seriously, this show practically inspired me to create the lore around my OC self and everything my philosophy stands for was molded BY Hamtaro. If it hadn't been for that show, I probably wouldn't even be the person I am today. I latched onto "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" so quickly because the first season alone reminded me WAY too much of Hamtaro and that connection only grew from there. As such, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" really made me jump into fanfic writing, so I have that show to thank for inspiring me to finally jump into the grand world of fanfic. Plus, I think by having cover art for before Sunset becomes an alicorn in this universe, it adds to the progression of the story.

The next chapter will have to now include the "Rob Snowden Production" notice to deter them away from copying more of this story. This story is a sequel to When Times Collide
