I'll see you starside, everyone. Through rain, shine, or clouds, and no matter what it takes...I'll carry you there if necessary.

So, I do have Chapter 12 in the works for Star Wars - Hope in the Force. It should be out today or tomorrow. For those that are interested, here's a sneak peak/synopsis.

Darth Vader, having caught onto the trail of Kyris Marchen and his troops, sends his assassin, Starkiller, alongside Captain Eclipse, Proxy, and two Imperial officers, to eliminate the lost Jedi.

    Death Battle Birthday Present!

So, my Birthday is coming up real soon. September 11th, to be precise, so about two weeks 'till I'm 23.

But this isn't a blog post about my birthday.

This is about the next DEATH BATTLE and the next two combatants, who are none other than...

    DISCORD and BILL CIPHER!

    What a lovely present!

The Fourth of July and some ruminations... · 5:22pm Jul 4th, 2022

So, July 4th...is here. And honestly, I'm not too happy. If you want to know more, read on. Otherwise, have a good Independence Day.
----
I just don't feel like there's anything to celebrate in the US right now. (Honestly, the only reason I'm writing this is because my Xbox overheated and I felt this needed to be written.) To those that are celebrating, don't let me stop you from having a good time.

As for me, well, I did get a new job at a local brewing company that I am thoroughly enjoying, and I made a worthwile purchase on Amazon, a Xbox One gaming stand with a bunch of accessories like disc storage, a cooling unit, and an extra USB port. It was only around 40$, so yes, it was worthwhile.

I digress, however. I know it may sound weird when I say that I don't feel patriotic right now, given everything that's happened and is happening in the USA right now, but it's how I see things. I have a rule not to talk politics online, and I am sticking to that.

Plus, everything has just been so quiet for me nowadays. Plus, my mom has a meeting overseas coming up, so there's going to be a large family vacation after that's wrapped up to Spain and Portgual, where the meeting is.

The kicker is...I'm not going. Nope. Not in the slightest will I change my mind on that.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about my enjoying the whole thing from the start, and I don't enjoy flying long distances. I'm not scared of flying as a whole, I just don't like the process. Plus, I would literally be an ocean away from home, for two weeks, in a different country. I barely remember my Spanish from High School, and thus, I probably wouldn't get Portuguese either. I don't know if I'm being paranoid about all the bad things that could happen, but honestly, I feel I would be holding my family back from having a good time if I did go and things weren't how I expected.

Luckily, my dad is staying with me at home in the US, so I guess I don't need to worry about it. In addition, my mom's working to get her money back for my and dad's plane tickets.

And I haven't been sleeping well, since I'm still in the winter internal clock where I go to bed around 8-9 despite it still being light out, and I usually have bad dreams and interruptions as a result. And, if I forget my evening meds, it makes things 3x worse because they help me settle down enough to start going to sleep. The meds I usually take before I go to bed...keep me asleep. So...yeah. I won't describe some of the dreams I've had, but a few were bad enough that I was scared awake and I mentally refused to go back to sleep when they happened, regardless of time.

At least things are looking up at my new job, which I am thoroughly enjoying, I have my Amazon package arriving on Saturday, and my folks will be home from Chicago soon. I guess everything just balances out as a result.

Sorry for ranting like that, and I know you guys are expecting updates for my stories, so I will soon be posting a blog about the state of my writing. (Just be warrned, one story will be deleted soon, on grounds of it just being so messy and in my opinion, badly written that I need to get rid of it entirely. Plus, I don't like the universe it's set in anymore.)

So, yeah. That's about it. As I said, have a good July 4th, stay safe and sober, and don't set off too many fireworks.

How did you overheat your Xbox? Sure, both my 360 and Xbox One do heat up a bit ( Which is annoying ). But, they luckily didn't overheat. Or worse, catch on fire.

False alarm, actually. My power supply was the problem.

That's a relief. Anyway, sad that you got rid of your Call of Duty X Fall of Equestria story, despite your opinion on it.

And Titanfall 2 story is on hiatus, I guess.

Yeah, it is sad. But necessary, as sometimes I gotta clear away dead plants for the sake of the literary garden, if you understand what I mean.

Well, you still got your other Call of Duty story in there in a regular Equestria setting.

Personally, I like to see more Assasinverse or even Equestria Divided story lines.

I can find other "Insert OP Protagonist or OP Military Army/Navy/Air Force/Elite Special Forces to brutally dominate the Caribou, and save the mares/females from Fall of Equestria" type of stories in here.
