⚠️ If you were a victim of ToonKritic's pedophilia, especially if it's triggering for you, I encourage that you not comb through this information, least it bring up traumatic experiences. You deserve all the time you need to recover from his behavior, regardless of how many years ago it's been.
ToonKriticY2K is a pedophile that had a whole scandal released about him centering around said pedophilic behavior back in 2018.
There were many people who had something to say regarding ToonKritic and his disgusting behavior: KiwiFarms, GeekReply, and Venus R.R. Velez, among many.
Unfortunately, there are a few sympathizers and apologists about the whole matter.
For those late in the game, like I was, here's what you need to know about him.
How Did All Of This Start?
ToonKriticY2K / Zak Kayes Call, admits to pedophilia acts
• In a Skype call, ToonKritic is approached by five of his (then) friends, mainly BritishNinja and JoshScorcher regarding his pedophilia.
• ToonKritic confesses to his pedophilia, even though he chalks it up to a "mistake".
• According to some sources, Josh had recorded the Skype call, but didn't release it.
ToonKriticY2K: What Happened
• JoshScorcher, one of the people involved in the Skype call, elaborates on what happened.
• As details behind ToonKritic's pedophilia came to light, Josh and his friends decided that it would be a bad idea to leak anything. On top of his victims (especially one named "Sally") not wanting to be linked to the scandal, it was agreed that nothing be made public until after statements had been made.
• Josh and his friends confronted ToonKritic about his pedophilia in a Skype call (on top of disassociating with him and warning conventions to ban ToonKritic from future attendance) that was later released to the public. The release of the Skype call (on top of other evidence that was entrusted to Josh by "Sally") made the proper collection of evidence to put ToonKritic behind bars harder to achieve for investigators.
• Josh elaborates on how the secular world and Christians have different views on forgiveness. While both views maintain that criminals should face the consequences of their actions, this sort of thing simply cannot be dismissed, and that forgiveness cannot be forced, the Christian view maintains to treat others the way one wishes to be treated. The over generalization of how forgiveness was presented at the time caused a sizeable back-lash due to its reception, to which Josh apologizes for.

• TheLostExtras, while not as active in the fandom, apologized to ToonKritic's victims not because they themselves did anything wrong, but on behalf of a fandom that was believed to be happy and optimistic.
• There is also a general encouragement to victims to give themself some slack about what happened because it wasn't their fault: as victims, they deserve the time they need to heal, even if that happens to be years.

This was an interesting watch and a very big injustice that someone who confessed to grooming and engaging in sexual activity with a child did not face any jail time.
Quite the shame, but it should serve as a reminder to always go to the police first with all the information, allow them to investigate, and then plaster the accused on any platform they are associated with to allow any old fans and potential victims know to stay clear.

I was pretty mad about the whole thing, and still am, but people need to know about this and be wary of him. He's even on Twitch now.
In addition to a lot of information out about him, ToonKritic also has a few apologists...
So, as I am to understand, Josh and Patch got into a heated exchange on Tumblr. I recently realised this is what he was apologising to her for in the Feb '18 video.
At least, that's what I've been able to gather so far.
It's amazing how a situation that's over four years old can give you pause for thought.
