Question of the Week #60 · 2:51am Jun 22nd, 2022
Hello everyone, here we are at the 60th Question of the Week blog.
Well, I hope you all had a great Father's Day, I know not everyone has a great relationship with their fathers, but I do and we had a good time. So I hope the same for all of you.
I largely feel that many of the reasons why there are fewer good fathers these days is largely due to our society. When Mother's Day comes everyone's excited but then when it comes to Father's Day, most simply due the minimum or even use it as an excuse to show what's wrong with men. The fact is I feel that fathers are treated with that much disrespect by our society and because of that young men either don't want to become fathers and when they do, they don't put in the necessary effort to be a good father.
The fact that we have shows (and cartoons) that depict most fathers as: dumb, alcoholics, abusive, lazy, cowardly, unfaithful or a combination of the above, doesn't help either.
Well, now that I have that off my chest, let's go onto this week's question.
This might be a bit of an odd question. Now as many of you know, I don't write clop, just not my purview, however I was wondering, what's you opinions on implied sex?
Like hinting that some characters either have or will have sex with one another. What are your thoughts on it?
So there's the question for the week. Thank you all for coming this week. I hope you all have an amazing week.
When something should happen but the rating won't let you show it, you still get to make a joke.
5666605 Right!
I don't have anything against it
I keep all my stuff Teen / Sex at the most, nothing explicit or anything that needs a mature rating; but sometimes it fits. Implication is great because I donāt even have to write the scene and people will probably come up with something crazier than I could.
And also I feel like Barbossa, like if you imply but donāt show it, itās ok, so āitās more of what youād call āguidelinesā than actual rulesā, even though we all know what happened.
That's fine.
Deepening relationships is a natural process to the extent that skipping over that part can seem unrealistic. Plus, there are plenty of ways to say a couple had a great night without having to write clop. Adding a "sex" tag because it happens offscreen? Fine and dandy.
