May stream Sonic Origins next week. · 6:19pm Jun 19th, 2022
Happy Sunday, everypony!
After a rough, mostly restless night, and spending that restless period cleaning the kitchen that had gotten away from me for the past few days, I've been trying to figure out when and how I want to try streaming semi-regularly again, without taking too much time away from writing.
I believe I'm going to try to do so with Sonic Origins late next week, which comes out on Thursday for the franchise's 31st anniversary.
I'm also starting to figure out what I want to play for Extra Life 2022 Game Day on November 5th.
I've been wanting to try speedrunning all 100 floors of Division 2's Summit mode on Heroic (no record exists for that difficulty on Speedrun.com). But honestly, the downright infuriating instability of the game for the past year (disconnects and desktop crashes as frequently as every five minutes) may not make that feasible. Ideally, such an attempt would be around six hours, and I don't want to bank on Massive's networking department getting their heads out of their asses by November.
There's no release date for Hogwarts Legacy yet, but if it's before November 5th, perhaps a trip to the Wizarding World would be in order.
Halo Infinite Season 3 will also miss Game Day by three days, not releasing until November 8th, and I also don't want to place bets on the game being dramatically improved in the next five months.
Last year it was short amounts of Sonic, StarCraft 2, Hades, Division 2, Bullets Per Minute, followed by nearly eight hours straight of Master Chief Collection. I'd prefer if it wasn't just a carbon copy of that, so we'll see what else comes out this year.
