(Second Attempt) Short Stories · 7:53pm Jun 6th, 2022
So my current plan is to post short stories in between the comic rewrites so it's not just one story after another. I've done this with Zecora's Homecoming being followed by Gimme Some Grub, and I've got the next rewrite and another story almost ready to go. I'm trying to think of which stories to go in between rewrites #3 & #4, but I'm having a little trouble with that. I was hoping you guys could help pick out which stories you'd like to see. As always, the voting will be held on strawpoll, so take a look at the stories I've got to offer. The top two stories will be posted along with the rewrites. Garble's Special Delivery
Due to a lack of flying creatures to deliver the mail across Equestria, Garble has been requested to help Gabby deliver the mail. The dragon isn't sure how to feel about it, so Gabby thinks it'll be nice to break the ice with the former bully.
Buggy Burnout
Smolder sees Ocellus is burning herself out with her studying. To help her girlfriend feel better, the dragoness decides to spend the day with the changelings and simply hang out. Though, Smolder is confused about why Ocellus is pushing herself so hard.
Creatures at Work
For extra credit, the school is allowing some of the students to try out jobs around Ponyville. Knowing that most would try for places like Sugarcube Corner, the school randomly assigns where the students will go to. This leaves Gale the griffon and Flare the dragon to work at Sweet Apple acres.
Though the apples know how lazy the two can be.
Speak up Timber
Pate has noticed something about Timber Sparks the kirin, he hadn't heard her speak to anyone other than the newer students, the young six, or Deep Sea unless she was being talked to by someone else. Not to mention, when she's asked for an opinion, she seems nervous when she gives a positive answer. The changeling, as well as Shimmy Shake and Lighthoof are wanting to know why she's acting like this.
Sister Claw Special
It's time for the Sister Hoof Special again, and Emerald is wanting to try it out with her twin sister, Peridot. The two are joined by Applejack and Applebloom, who are excited to share this event with new creatures this year.
