One issue I seem to be having, and I'm sure a lot of other G5 writers are facing right now is trying to follow the canon.
My one and only G5 story (So far) was posted before the "Make your mark" Series, and while I have yet to actually watch it (Animation quality be damned), I can already tell it is going to mess up my plans majorly. I knew this was coming of course, yet I still posted my story early, for the exact reason of the title. I wanted to be first, so I posted first, I mean who wouldn't? But here is the problem, rather than just slap an Alternate Universe tag on my story and be done with it, I want to see if I can have it follow the new canon, while both are being written. However since I can only know the future to one of these things, I unfortunately have to wait for the rest of G5 to be released.
That brings me to my next topic, which some of you may not like to hear.
I will be putting Somewhere Else on Hiatus until further notice. I already posted it, which may or may not be a mistake, but I still have to finish some other things first, namely my other unfinished story. Unlike my other story on Hiatus though, the spark that made Somewhere Else is still going, and I will get back to it later, when more information is available of course.
The future holds the answers, but we shall forever live in the present.
