A term usually associated with AD/HD, more specifically the HD part.
I have no official diagnosis, so I'm not going to go around pretending I know everything about it, or that I actually have it, though I have noticed some trends in my behavior.
The point in me saying this is that I have become really focused on another story other than Mystic Machinery. In these past couple of weeks, I have written about ten chapters, each more than 2k words. While this may not be the progress some of you want, I figure as long as I'm still writing, I'm okay, even though there is a significant risk of burnout. As a result, I've lost my lead of chapters in Mystic Machinery, and am hereby placing it under hiatus until I can start posting weekly again. There may also be a little rewrite of my plans, so that will take time too.
So, for an apology, I will probably be posting this new story as my secondary story for my line-up this year. It will be my first non-parodical HiE story, which also happens to be Displaced and a Crossover (So original, I know). I've tried to stray away from HiE stories in the beginning, I didn't really want them to define me as an author, hence why most of my crossovers involve non-human characters (Teck) or literal monsters (Storm Weaver).
Now though, I'm ready, and this coming story, along with two others in the pipeline, will become a trifecta collection representing the Flesh, Bone, and Spirit of humanity. If you get that reference then congratulations, it was unintentional and I came up with it after the fact. They won't actually be taking place in the same world, but it's the thought that counts.
Nevertheless, the Bone is coming first.
