Has everyone always known that Twilight's cutiemark is a hexagram surrounded by 5 other hexagrams forming an upside down pentagram, aka, the symbol for the baphomet?? · 10:14pm May 27th, 2022

I like, literally just clued into this! I'm honestly trying to figure out what to do with this new knowledge of a once beloved show...seriously. I'm a christian, and this does not go over well with me. The hexagram, along with the upside down pentagram are both satanic symbols...and to know that Hasbro has had this in the show this whole time, and I never clued in until now...Idk...I'm honestly beginning to re-think my interest in this show...

the hexagram represents 666:
6 pointed star
6 mini triangles surrounding
6 sided hexagon

2 equilateral triangles
60-60-60 degrees

it is used in nearly every religion, including satanism.

I dont know how many times it is used in the show, but when they defeat tirek, the 6 of them form a group. 3 on top, 3 on bottom. If you connect it as two triangles, it again forms this star.
This shape is again made in "The Beginning of the End part 2"

I'd say this star is a lot more prominent in this show than we think.

The hexagram, along with the upside down pentagram are both satanic symbols

cant tell if ur taking the piss, but imma let Britannica say it better

Star of David, Hebrew Magen David (“Shield of David”), Magen also spelled Mogen, Jewish symbol composed of two overlaid equilateral triangles that form a six-pointed star. It appears on synagogues, Jewish tombstones, and the flag of the State of Israel. The symbol—which historically was not limited to use by Jews—originated in antiquity, when, side by side with the five-pointed star, it served as a magical sign or as a decoration. In the Middle Ages the Star of David appeared with greater frequency among Jews but did not assume any special religious significance; it is found as well on some medieval cathedrals. The term Magen David, which in Jewish liturgy signifies God as the protector (shield) of David, gained currency among medieval Jewish mystics, who attached magical powers to King David’s shield just as earlier (non-Jewish) magical traditions had referred to the five-pointed star as the “seal of Solomon.”

the pentagram, of course, is a symbol long associated first with Greek pagans, then Satanists (and has more history besides even that), but the sideways position of the smaller hexagrams dispels the "upside-down" part usually associated with Satanism

additionally this runs into the "simple shape" problem: nearly every culture has a version of nearly every symbol, because they tend to be simple, easy to recognize shapes

the hottest take one is of course, the swastika, having a versions from Asia, India, the Middle East, and even the Americas and Africa

Is a hexagram surrounded by 5 hexagrams the symbol of baphomet? from what I've seen online it's a goat headed pentagram instead.

Then again, wikipedia says that baphomet symbolises the balance of opposites, and just look at the equestrian national flag... opposites... and discord looks awfully like that goat on the pentagram, doesn't he... and he OPPOSES harmony...

and the creator of the show is called FAUST... a mythological figure who made a deal with the devil...

and why do you think apples are such a frequently seen motif in the show... It's the forbidden fruit... hence why twilight is so obsessed with gaining KNOWLEDGE...

not only that, but Hitch Trailblazer has a sheriff badge which happens to be a star... why do you think there 5 main characters in G5

But then again. what's to say the CMC and the three tribes don't represent the holy trinity, the elements of harmony the five holy wounds plus the crown of thorns, and rainbow dash the covenant between God and Noah

I was actually referring to the 5 mini hexagrams forming an upside down pentagram. An upside down pentagram is the symbol for the baphomet.
I never knew about that Faust thing...also, I kind of just thought of all the apple related stuff being because of Applejack...but, you make a solid point with Twilight being obsessed with gaining knowledge...
I was willing to dismiss Hitch's 5 pointed star badge, because that is a common badge for a sheriff, so I didn't think much of that. I've also been willing to overlook the fact that Celestia and Luna are basically goddesses of the sun and moon...but idk...I'm finding so much stuff about this show that is contrary to what I believe...Idk how much longer I can just overlook this stuff.

I think you're worried about nothing.
To quote Star Trek TNG: "Sometimes a cake is just a cake."

I think you are seeing way too much into it. It is like when what more religious than me person saw an Anime that had a Pentagram in it. It wasn't anything Satanic, because the Anime was dealing with CHINESE mysticism. In Taoism, The pentagram represents the Five elements of creation, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood, and Fire.

you also overlooked my thing at the end, the point being that it's easy to find patterns and correlations in things if you know what you're looking for. You could argue about symbols all day long, but when has the show ever pushed a satanic/occult message

spellcasting, for one thing. It's not like they just use their horn and that's it. No, they study spells, and make it clear it is not just some random magic stuff, like say, elsa from frozen. She doesn't go out of her way to study spells, it's just a random power she has. Whereas, in this show, spellcasting is the norm. There is also the issue of ascension into godhood. Ponies can ascend into alicorns, which is basically the equivalent of a god. From what we've seen in the show, Celestia has the power to grant alicornhood, and she is the most powerful alicorn there is, controlling the sun. She is basically the top god of Equestria, as ponies use her name, not luna's, when they say "sweet Celestia!" and she controls the sun. (sun god worship?) Like I said, I've always known these elements were in the show, but, up until this point, I chose to ignore it all...I don't think I can anymore, and I don't think I ever should have...Zecora's original name was supposed to be "Shaman", did you know that? Because, she IS a shaman, so the creators of this show KNOW they are putting elements from religions in this show. So, it's definitely possible that Celstia and Luna ARE supposed to be goddesses in this show. (technically Twilight too, because she gets that windy hair look too at the end of the series. Which again supports the acension into godhood theory, which is another religious element)

Also, you know how in some places in the show, the rainbow that forms when they defeat an enemy sometimes forms a double helix, like in dna? Well, I was reading an article (i'll get the url), where someone had pointed out that when they activate the elements, it is actually representative of activating your chakras and the kundalini (hinduism), which is why the rainbow forms a double helix. It's a really interesting read. I'll get the url.

here is the article. They talk about all the hidden symbolism in mlp.

Sorry, the part about the kundalini is actually in the discussion portion of this page. The user made another post about the "merkabah", and talks about the kundalini in it.
