I hope your May is going well.
Personal
Unfortunately, during the month of April, I started to have chest pains. It's not heart-related and most likely related to my GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), which I have had and managed for many years. I have had GERD chest pains before, but this pain was stronger and lasted longer than what I am used to. I suspect some anxiety issues. I'm not diagnosed with any kind of anxiety, but just...stress of living in a pandemic and the like gets to me. I am pretty sure I had a panic attack one morning. Anyway, basically, I was in pain during April, enough that I eventually went to an emergency room. They are the ones who determined it was not heart-related and recommended I see a gastroenterology specialist. I'm seeking help with an appointment later this month, and here's hoping things go okay.
Due to the severity of the pain I was in, I took it easy as I found necessary for updates with The Master Mev, both audiobook and text.
So, that's why updates have slowed all the more. Trust me, I want to progress faster, but I also know that I need to watch and pace myself.

Both Chapters 13 and 14 were published during April. If my pain is manageable, my goal is to release Chapter 15 this month, maybe even Chapter 16 if possible.

As I've said before, once I get to a better place with audiobook stuff, I hope these updates pick up again. I had wanted to finish it all by the end of this year, but it's hard to see that happening with how my pace has slowed down so much.
