    Moved!

I'm writing this from my new place, about 20 minutes away from my old place. This one is a condo, with about 500 more square feet, an extra half bath (for 2.5 total), a tankless water heater, and 2 count 'em 2 long flights of stairs - one up from the underground parking and one from the 1st floor to the 2nd. I haven't counted the stairs yet but it definitely works as cardio. I feel bad for my

    A good story

Quoted out loud to the room as I put my dinner dishes in the sink: "I just read a good story. Like all good stories, it was too short."

It was this one. As usual I'm ages and ages late to the party.

    The end of Covid?

My crystal ball is just as bad as everyone else's. Maybe even worse.
It feels like maybe we won't need to panic anymore. That would be nice. Maybe it's just the spring in the air.

If this ISN'T the end of Covid then I have a request.
Can it pretty please morph into something like turbo Ebola that kills you within 24 hours?
    The lingering is no fun.

    Dreams

I've become lucky enough over the last several years to have a re-occurring theme in my dreams. Not every night - I don't even remember my dreams every night, and then not 100% of the time when I do remember them.

Mostly, it's the old saw of flying, with a notable twist - I'm flying via telekinesis. Very pointedly telekinesis - no wings, no tech (which seems weird if you know me much).

Under the hood. · 3:04am Dec 11th, 2012

I'm tired from a full day of training at work (which involves waking up at 5:30 am, 9 pm now). Not a lot of life in me at the moment, but I feel it bears mentioning that I don't hate the site overhaul. Yeah, I was partial to the old design. It felt pretty easy to navigate. But on the other hand (hoof?) I worry about the site a lot too. I suspect the mods get frightfully little thanks for all the hard work they do, and I would be crushed if the site were lost tomorrow. Fic has become far and away my favorite part of the fandom.

It'll take a little getting used to, but I think this could work out in the end.

And, Mods? On the incredibly off chance any of you see this, is there anything I can do to help? I've often wondered if I could throw a few ... bucks (bits!) into keeping things going. It wouldn't, couldn't, be a lot. I don't have the credentials, or the energy, to try to be a mod myself. But the site has become very near to my heart. I'd like to help!

Keep Calm?
