    Moved!

I'm writing this from my new place, about 20 minutes away from my old place. This one is a condo, with about 500 more square feet, an extra half bath (for 2.5 total), a tankless water heater, and 2 count 'em 2 long flights of stairs - one up from the underground parking and one from the 1st floor to the 2nd. I haven't counted the stairs yet but it definitely works as cardio. I feel bad for my

    A good story

Quoted out loud to the room as I put my dinner dishes in the sink: "I just read a good story. Like all good stories, it was too short."

It was this one. As usual I'm ages and ages late to the party.

    The end of Covid?

My crystal ball is just as bad as everyone else's. Maybe even worse.
It feels like maybe we won't need to panic anymore. That would be nice. Maybe it's just the spring in the air.

If this ISN'T the end of Covid then I have a request.
Can it pretty please morph into something like turbo Ebola that kills you within 24 hours?
    The lingering is no fun.

    Dreams

I've become lucky enough over the last several years to have a re-occurring theme in my dreams. Not every night - I don't even remember my dreams every night, and then not 100% of the time when I do remember them.

Mostly, it's the old saw of flying, with a notable twist - I'm flying via telekinesis. Very pointedly telekinesis - no wings, no tech (which seems weird if you know me much).

Sometimes the power manifests itself in other ways. A few times I've been the worlds fastest welder. About 50% of the time I can stick/walk/skate on other surfaces. Crowds notice, but never as much as they would in reality.

The firs time I had a dream like this - I held an egg about a foot away from my hand. I could feel the entire surface at once, ever little bump. It was weird because there are normally small parts your fingers don't feel when you pick up an egg, but I didn't have that here. Beyond that, I could feel the potential for TK in my head. It's like the pressure you feel at the bottom of a pool, except instead of the water pressing in, this pressed out. Not painfully so, mind you.

Most of the time for these dreams, it starts with a single step forward into the air. I have to concentrate for a minute and there's no visual effect even for myself. But my foot will "stand" on nothing, and then the other foot will, and I'm floating.

In most of these dreams I only go 10-20 ft up. Once I went right above the trees but usually not even that. Just enough for better vantage and easier movement. In these dreams I'm also pretty wobbly and not fast. I have to learn from 0 every time. I think it's getting a little smoother over the years though. My imagination remembers, even if the rest of me doesn't.

The age old questions of "which superpower would you want?" never gets old, but I will admit I feel like I have an advantage. I'm always fantasizing about telekinetically carrying groceries. I 100% believe my mind would be able to lift way more than my arms can. I would do all sorts of mundane stuff with it.
