I think it's about time I come to terms with my writing · 5:17am Feb 10th, 2022

So, let me be honest for a little bit here.

Writing has been, well, almost completely stagnant for me as of late. Things just aren't going the way that I imagined they would be going, and with all of the real life stuff that's been going on and with my work, it's been quite depressing to just look at my half-finished, or barely started stories and realize that I might've made something I can't fully commit to.

I want to write and have fun, without disappointing people. But, I know that isn't going to happen. Someone will be disappointed because I gave up a project in favor of another. That happened with my Bloodborne story, and it pretty much ruined the whole story because I just couldn't continue it any longer. I had fun in the beginning, and I didn't have fun later with it.

So, here's what is going to happen.

I'm going to put most of my stories on hold, including the main one I've been writing (which would be Solaire's story) and focus on stories I want to actually write for now. I might even put them as cancelled so people understand that they will not be worked on for awhile, as having them on Hiatus might just confuse people.

If it comes to it, I will Revoke the stories until I feel like working on them again. This would cause a huge problem with people having the stories favorited, put on read-later, etc. But it would also clear my head from being boggled by so much at once.

As my previous blog said, my great grandmother passed away. Even though we weren't close, that hasn't made my situation easier. With work getting more and more hectic and stressful (It's what I get for working in a Hotel business) I come home often finding myself feeling inspired to write, only to feel depressed about my current work.

So, before I end this blog, these stories will be put on hold for an indefinite amount of time, more than they have been already:

The Diary
Survival Is Necessary
Freedom at Last
and The Ghost.

The Blazing Sun
The Knox Event
Collecting Payment
and A Rimworld Away: Project Archoseed

Sorry to everyone who wanted to see the other stories be continued. They will, but not for now. I need to actually enjoy writing before I start committing myself to writing those stories that I hold dear to myself. If I'm not having fun, you will find the stories lacking and boring; look at "I'd kill you" and my Bloodborne story for reference of that.
