Chapter started, and a reading begun!

So I have gotten some genuine progress on the next TCP chapter. I know how I want it to go, and I'm very excited about what comes next.

Additionally, Fire Hearth has taken on the daunting task of doing a reading to TCP, with Chapter 1 currently out!

Christmas, tornadoes, and new chapters oh my!

December is always a busy time, and I recently got a new job that has been consuming plenty of time (far more mentally taxing than the last one; less physical though, so that's a plus). Still, new TCP chapter is released, and I will be chasing it with a ROM one on Monday.

Happy new year! · 12:56am Jan 1st, 2022

Hope ya'll are having a good new years eve, and I hope 2022 is a great year!

I just posted another chapter of ROM because the newest TCP chapter is coming molasses on a winter day with a pack of sugar hungry geese nearby, which is to say it's a struggle. I've already deleted it once and restarted, and I still don't accomplish the goals I need to in this chapter. For those of you who want more detail, below are spoilers:

In essence, the march needs to receive a reason to move faster, Nightshade needs to come out of wounding, Elias needs to show that he's under pressure and exhausted, and Luna needs to coerce him into a pony method of relaxing, which is to say snuggles. Each of these things needs to come "next" in the story, but putting them all together is jumbled and ugly. Any two work fine together, but I'm having a hard time getting all three to work, hence my rather lengthy delay. Truth be told, I may just force it and move on, coming back later if I receive good ideas in feedback, who knows? I certainly appreciate your comments and have pulled many a good revision from them.

Ultimately, until I get past the wall, TCP updates are going to be slow unfortunately, but I certainly haven't turned my eye away from it. It's coming along, just slow. I'm hoping to make great progress with it this year though, so I hope you all continue eagerly reading!

I wish you a good and fruitful year! Then with regard to TCP, I have never given feedback on stories, but since you asked I can try to put down some ideas, even if I think you have already thought about it. Also I apologize for any errors or misunderstandings, English is not my native language.
Nightshade: regarding her health condition, I think this is actually the hardest part to create, I have only 2 ideas at the moment: some method of treatment of Snowball's hive, or it could be that during the march they may encounter a Zecora-like zebra shaman who accompanies them for a part of the journey of the march (maybe they help her and she reciprocates I don't know, I realize that it is a pain to think of create another character).
Elias: For Elia I would say fits of anger over trivial things and / or hallucinations
Luna: For Luna I'll gamble, why instead of trying a Pony method again, she doesn't look again in Elia diary to see if there was something that relaxed him in his past?
This is the best I can think of, sorry :twilightblush:

I'm not really helpful here... But I wanted to say your one of my favorite writers 💕
