It's like 2am on Boxing Day here in NZ, but I know all you folks over on the other side of the world will be enjoying Christmas Day.
After the last couple years of acid reflux, gut pain, and wheat intolerance making finding things I could safely eat an absolute nightmare... I can happily say that I'm back at ap oint where i can enjoy some foods again. Though not all of them are healthy, I don't care.
You go two years without chips (I mean fries), chocolate, soft drink, or even goddamn ham and it is a delight to be able to have those things again, even in moderation.
Every year we have a quiet Christmas, Mum still isn't well, family interaction can be stressful for the both of us, and we just get ourselves some nice food and have a chill day. So, I got to enjou a rye roll with cranberry jelly, ham, and cheese on it for breakfast.
I also now have a small stash of chocolates that Mum is responsible for because she bought me like, all of them save for the one block of milk chocolate I was planning on having (It was nice by the way).
Good god I missed being able to have pepsi, especially now that it's summer and the perfect weather for it. But I had it, I was fine with it, and at least it's one way to keep my fluids up... (I've gotten reflux from just drinking water in the past, so I'm sort of... I dunno, wary? paranoid? about having more than water than a few mouthfuls. Juice and other things sort of trick my brain though, so that's something at least)
Spent the day playing Dark Souls 3 with Sanguine and my best friend. We had a blast swapping Sanguine's world and mine just playing the game. We beat Abyss Watchers (one of my favourite boss fights), Wolnir, and went through almost all of the first DLC on Sanguine's save.
Sister Friede kicked our arses though, but we had fun, and might pick up where we left off tomorrow (well...when I wake up is what I call "tomorrow" since it's past midnight) barring the guys have time/energy after Christmas stuff with their families.
Writing-wise, I have gotten a chapter thing on a new thing (I really need a long break from The Mothlnig AU, and plan to come back to it when I have a better idea on a few things. I hit a wall in regards to Hearth's character arc), and this new thing will be bloodborne related.
Yeah... I may have figured out how to make an Au in which the worlds of Equestria and Bloodborne interact in some capacity... just don't expect much content from the actual game, it's more slice of life stuff if anything. Debating whether to publish it now or wait until I have more than one chapter done...
