“Hey Dante, I’m finally back! Are you home?”
Undead Bez was met with a muffled, booming sound, presumably from Dante’s studio.
“…Huh. What’s he up to?” She inquired aloud, stepping closer to the source of the bass heavy music. Should I knock? Would he even hear me? she wondered as she reached the door to the studio.
“Yo!” A voice answered, as the music stopped.
“…Huh. That was easy.”
“Who’s there?”
“Hey, Raspberry.”
“Licious!”
There was an audible struggle before the door flew open, revealing a grinning, yet slightly disheveled Dante.
Undead Bez chuckled, caringly stroking Dante’s mane and brushing the bangs out of his eyes. To make the process a little easier, the larger changeling bent down an inch or two.
“What’s going on, Raspberry? Up all night?”
“Yeah, I was working on a new joint…I’m on house arrest, so I had nothing better to do…”
“House arrest? What for?”
Dante’s gaze focused somewhere above the female changeling, but as she followed with her own she realized that nothing was there, which only made her even more confused.
“So what brings you over here?”
“Well, I wanted to see how you were doing. Been a while since we’ve spoken, hasn’t it?”
“Oh, definitely,” he chuckled, sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. “I’ve been off the grid for a while, haven’t I?”
“Eeeeyup.” She gave him a teasing nudge. He giggled, leaning onto her and closing his eyes.
“Sorryyyyy…”
She smiled and simply rubbed his head. “Heh. Raspberry…”
