Thanks to someone I follow, they pointed out another noticeable connectstion from Gen 5 to the last generation, possibly even Equestria Girls.
The geodes that would become the source of the Rainbooms Magic in their crystal forms, and Izzy appears to be wearing a headband with geode crystals that look so similar to the Rainbooms geodes. Some of you may call it pure coincidence, but it still looks relatively close. And you could also say the Rainboms geodes could've come from the same kind of crystal fragments the crystals in Izzy's mane came from.

I would like to get some closure on what happened to her, Discord, and the other princesses. As well as the other races in Equestria (griffons, changelings, yaks, dragons, hippogriffs, kirins, zebras, etc)

Interesting theory, though not especially surprising given that Izzy grew up in an area where crystals are everywhere.
Your right. That does make more questions that needs answers for this kind of discovery. Because right now after seeing those geodes in their crystal forms while matching Izzy’s crystals that she is wearing I wonder if that equestrian magic from the statue was from the future or something.

Yeah seems a lot aren't even sticking around and support Gen 5 to wait to see if the series has answers we're looking for. They just see the movie and bam they give up and pretend it doesn't exist or have anything to do with gen 4

Wouldn’t the geodes be from before twi found each element bearer until they transformed into the bearers mark?
