Small Update · 10:08pm Oct 26th, 2021
Spooktober is still in session, and I have some news!
Firstly, I've actually been writing for once. Yeah, surprised me too. Though, I have to say right now, I'mma have to skip this year in regards to my yearly Halloween story in my Apparition Amphitheater line-up. Just couldn't come up with a new horror story that I jived with (or a song that would properly convey the story). That said, I'm planning something else instead, but there's no real guarantee that I'll post it in time for the 31st.
Secondly, I finished a new chapter for my Elements Anthology story. I've been working on it for a long time, and I finally everything lined up in a way to place a relatively satisfying ending for the chapter. Gonna double check it with my editor, but yeah, expect at least SOME content by the end of the week.
Finally, pretty much got my costume ready (got some final adjustments, tho). Gonna be going out with my wife on Halloween to hand out candy and maybe take some photos. Perhaps spook up the town and visit family. If I get any good photos out of it, I'll be sure to post em here.
Anyway, that's all. Hope to post another blog on the day in question. Other than that, see the small handful of you later.
hate to be that guy, but imo it'd be better if you focused your efforts on the anthology
finish one story, then make another

Dude, the Anthology will quite literally go on forever, for as long as I hold any sort of interest. It's a collection of canon and non-canon side stories that can't fit in a full multi-chapter story, like "Dark Hearts" (which is already done) or "Sworn Through Swords" (which only has two chapters done, with a third being worked on). The stories done for the anthology would be more spur of the moment/interesting ideas I wanna play with. The only ones that are actually fully structured/sequential/could fit as its own story would be the first six chapters, including the one I'm about to post later in the week, and one more that I wanna make sure to get done eventually. The rest is gravy.
Besides, I hit burnout much faster if I just stay on one thing and one thing only. Inspiration can be a fickle mistress for me, and it takes hopping from one project to another (with some minor charges of focus), to keep me somewhat motivated. It also helps me practice with ideas and thoughts in different angles and situations so I can help solve writing/plot/event/character problems to keep things relatively believable in the context of the stories.

fair points, all
disregard my statement

Nothing much to disregard, dude. You just wanted to help with a little writing advice, and that's fine. No harm, no foul.
That said, while you wait, why not check out some of my other stories if you haven't already? I also wouldn't mind if you shared your thoughts.
