Officially product and licensed by the Hasbro branded as season 10 is canon.
Also by the rule of "canon until contradiction" season 10 is as integral as NY season of the show.

The transformers mini series takes place in the original idw comic mlp line. Season 10 follows the show canon there is no correlation.

Tell that to the number of references the line made to comics that were previously retconned by the show or tried contradicting the show itself. Not to mention they carry too many inconsistencies to make them believable or plausible, such as the whole multiple Tree of Harmonies thing.

You do realize that with everything I mentioned Hasbro and IDW openly contradicted themselves, don’t you?
The show mentions that the Pillars were the ones who created the Tree and Elements of Harmony and planted the seed, yet the comics say they were created by other beings entirely.
And before you ask, yes. I took a gander at them and did tons of research, so don’t say that I hardly know anything.

I don’t care too much about season 10. I mainly care about the three getting a redemption arc. I’ll probably say it’s canon regardless, but I’ll care more about its status if I get my wish.
If it’s not canon and the villains aren’t touched upon, that won’t affect me in the slightest (aside from knowing I have non-canon stories in my room)

As said earlier nothing in season 10 contradicts this also they seed were not created by the pillars. If nothing else it actually goes perfectly with season 10 since pillars had different elements the mane six had different elements as well and the elements zecora nad her friends got were ALSO different. So all in all season 10 is a canon.
Its fine if you don't consider it as such but that's your choice officially its as canon as it gets.

No, I'm pretty sure it's the other way around.
I remember everything quite well. With the explanation of the Elements of Harmony's origins, I'm positive they were saying that they created the Tree of Harmony. The quotes you shared actually confirm what I said. The pillars didn't say that they discovered the seed. They said that they imbued it with their own magic, which clearly says that they made the seed before planting it.
If anything, you're contradicting yourself. Your accusations and use of reverse psychology clearly show that, and from where I stand you're the one in denial. To say that I didn't do any research honestly makes it seem like you were the one who didn't do any.
And again, you're completely evading the fact that the "Season 10" comics referenced previous ones that didn't age well in the slightest, those comics being ones that were either retconned by the show or tried to contradict it. The "Cosmos" arc is one of them, in that it was contradicting Discord's character as depicted in the show. Heck, his reign and entrapment in stone were shown in the Season 4 premiere, and the Cosmos arc was contradicting that.

I have my own plans that I'm hoping could make a big difference in this world, and they all involve MLP.
Frankly, what you said doesn't change the fact that the line was openly mediocre. The writing and art of the series is atrocious, the new characters are forgettable, and the origins don't make a single bit of sense. Some of them even watered original characters down by taking away everything that made them interesting. On top of that, all they've ever done is take everything that made FiM special and rip it to shreds.

If they wanted to do a qualifiable follow-up to the show via comic books, they should've made more careful decisions on how to go about it. Considering Jeremy Whitley and Andy Price's history of not being faithful to the canonicity of the show no matter how much they say they try to be, they're pretty much to blame for it all. They were the wrong choices for who to head the endeavor.

It doesn't matter what they say. What matters is the quality of the work and if it's faithful to what it was trying to honor, and the "Season 10" line certainly wasn't any of those things.
But, like you said, it's up to the individual fan to decide if they're canon or not. So, I choose to not count them as canon. I hardly see the need to anyway because I wasn't impressed by them in the slightest.
