Wanting to hear others' opinions

Hey guys, The Human Commentator here, I want to use this blog, as implied in the title, for your opinions on something I want to do in my story "UNCOVERING."

I believe that the chapter "Chapter 1: Discovery, Part 1" requires a rewrite. This is because I realized it is lacking, in my opinion, a good exposition or start to my story. I feel like it is a bit too rushed and needs a more detailed journey of what the CMC did to get to that point of being in their treehouse. I did explain a bit of how they got to that stage, but as I said, it just feels too rushed.

But like I said, what do you guys think? I kind of made up my mind on what to do already, but I want to hear your thoughts on the matter!

Ok, heres my take/opinion on it, I really am genuenly interested in the direction of the story, so if you think the chapter needs a rewrite that would include relevant plotpoints for the story to progress, then go for it, I actualy like what is currently being built up, and I imo, I think a rewrite would be nice if it really helps in the plot and does improve the whole story.

Thanks for your opinion on the matter, I appreciate it after a long, long time of silence... Jokes aside, you and other readers would probably see a rewrite and maybe a new chapter in a couple of weeks or less.
