Some of you may have noticed that I kind of disappeared for a month, and for that, I must apologize. However, thankfully, I disappeared for several reasons. First and foremost, on August 24, I was in a pretty major car accident. I won't go into any details unless asked, but suffice to say that, miraculously, I was uninjured but my car was totaled. At the same time, I was trying to start at a new job, going through training and all of that good stuff. I was actually slated to start working the day after the accident occurred and was subsequently delayed in starting for two weeks because my glasses were irreparably broken in the crash. Along with all of that, my girlfriend and I were trying to get accepted into an apartment.
As you might expect, all of this was quite stressful and even more time-consuming. To make a quick summary, the job threatened to fire me in a time when I had little to no control over the situation, insurance paid me quite a bit more than what my car was actually worth which allowed me to get a new car, and the apartment accepted our application and got us out of a very toxic environment. Needless to say, things have been very busy.
What does this mean for you guys, though? Well, you guys will be getting a chapter today along with some art, however, there will not be an update next month as we have too busy prepare for this month's Patreon post. So, chapter for you guys this month, no Patreon this month, then no chapter here in October, but Patreon will be back to normal, and come November, everything will be back to normal. So, please, be patient during this time as we try to get things back to normal and adjust to our new life.
