Goodbye
It's a really hard thing to say, but it's time. I've been writing on this site since 2016 and reading on it for even longer and it's been wonderful. It's also been stressful and, admittedly, scary at times, but it's taught me a lot, too.
I can look back to Tales of the Wasteland Wanderer and see how far I've come as both a writer and a person. I'm so much better for the experience and I'm so grateful for everyone who came along for the ride and enjoyed my stories.
I'm not going to stop writing, mind you. I'm simply moving my focus and energy into trying to write a publishable work. Unfortunately, that has to come at the cost of not finishing my works here as they are becoming a choke chain. Any time my addled brain starts to think the writing process is too hard or tells me I'm not good enough, it brings me back to here and the thought that it would be so much better if I just continued what I was doing here. But that would be a betrayal to who I have become and the work I've put in, so I'm closing this chapter.
To all of the friends I've made here, thank you for making my time on this website truly special. To my readers, from the very bottom of my heart, thank you so much for reading, commenting, critiquing my works, and remaining patient with me. In the words of a great fez-wearer, I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear.
