Alright, after a not-so-restful vacay, we are back!
"Bright and Shining Unity brings the Amphithere's Grand Descent!" A deep male voice intoned as Derrick raised his weapon over his head, twisting it sharply so the now-glowing cutting edge faced Aguri.
"Do me a favor," the Ranger said darkly. "Don't block this one." A beam of light launched into the sky, creating a bright red and white blade well over ten feet tall and five wide. Derrick slashed down, the flash enough to blind the others beside him.
A noise like that of glass being broken rang out, followed by the sound of something wet and heavy thudding to the ground. Aguri let out a high-pitched scream as the blinding light faded to reveal her arm lying on the ground beside her. Her previously white gown was now dripping with black and red along the left side where her now severed limb was once attached.
The squire in question removed her helmet as she approached, shaking out locks of deep blue hair that fell against gray-ish features. She unceremoniously placed her helm into the waiting hand of her knight, taking a moment to look back at Kyle with eyes that blazed a harsh candy red. Kyle, for his part, looked back at her, having risen into an upright sitting position, blue eyes returning the stare angrily. A few more years, my ass! He hissed within his mind. If I was allowed to morph, I’d’ve-!
