Yeah, woo-hoo I used a click-baity title and whatever, but as of later today, I'll have been on and been a part of Fimfiction.net for five years.
Five years of scarce writing, writer's block, and dissapointing my readers with incredibly infrequent updates, but hey, if life didn't have lows, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the highs, or something like that.
I know it's been a hot minute since I updated or published anything coughJanuarycough, but i wanted to do something special for this occasion.
Now I actually had more planned to publish, but I only realized my give year anniversary on the site was coming up four days ago, and I just started a new job, so I didn't have time to work on all the projects I was inspired to do, but I still have good news.
Ponies and Lasers and Clankers, Oh My! updates today, and I've also published a short sci-fi fic!
I'm also still working on a short, three-chapter fic and plan to release it sometime in October, and I've got a big project I'm way to stuck and behind on right now, but maybe at some point it'll see the light of day.
Thanks to whoever cared enough to read this. I'm still writing, and it's a bit slow, but I'm more motivated now than I have been in months. Life hasn't been kicking my ass quite as hard recently and I'm finally feeling a bit better about life overall.
And thank you to all of you who read my stories, because I just really like knowing that something I did could bring enjoyment to others. See you next time!
