Hey guys, if you've read my latest chapter of Ponies and Lasers and Clanker's, Oh My!, you were probably looking forward to a new chapter this weekend.
Truth be told, I was looking forward to releasing a chapter too, but I've got to be honest, while I was making good progress with it, my word count dwindled over the last week, and then my computer had a brainfart and I had to force a shutdown.
What does this mean? I lost about two pages of writing because everything wasn't saved so now I'm back at a quarter of the chapter done instead of half, and it was a bit of a blow to my enthusiasm. I'll get over it, and I know I shouldn't let it get me down, but it's still disheartening to see things you've worked on just disappear into the wind. It also means I haven't worked on it for two days to try and make up any of my lost work yet. I'll get back to it soon but the little motivation I've had for writing during those two days I've spent on other projects, so I've just got to get over the initial unpleasantness of re-writing my lost work.
Again, I'm sorry I don't have anything for you guys right now, but I'll be working over the next week again and if I can keep up the previous 2k words a day I had going a week ago I can still deliver the chapter next weekend.
So for the few of you that read this or even care, I'm still trying to stay active but I had a setback that's bothering me more than it should, but even so I'm an adult and I can get over it and get right back to where I was.
sucks but it's okay, better late than never. I had it once my PC corrupted my doc files, so I had lost everything. luckily I had saved it by showing it in PMs to friends. only trouble was to remember what chapter titles I had
