Well, just yesterday I watched MLP A new generation, and boy oh boy it sure was great. It sure was worth the wait and I sure am hyped to see what the future holds for G5. Now for a few parts from the movie I enjoyed so in case anyone who's reading this has yet seen the movie you've been warned for spoilers I'm about to share.
When looking at the movie itself I thought it was great especially learning how Sunny & her father wanted to reunite all 3 tribes again to bring back magic and friendship all throughout Equestria. I sure feel bad for Sunny her father wasn't with her when this happened but we know he'd be proud of his daughter. Some parts of the film did indeed make me upset such as the parts where each tribe saying things about them like how earth ponies weren't smart and that unicorns can read their minds. Honestly I really wish they explained in the movie what happened after Princess Twilight was gone. But at least thx to Sunny (who also somehow become an alicorn) managed to fix it all and defeat sprout who I hate a lot now. I still question of Sunny's horn and wings are permanent now or not since I'm not even sure if what she did was princess-worthy. But all in all, I really enjoyed the movie. It sure will take some getting used to since I happened to be really attached to Gen 4 (especially EQG) but I hope I'll get used to it in no time. What were your thoughts on the movie? You know what I thought of it. I enjoyed it. Yes it is gonna take getting use to. I think some back story between gen 4 and gen 5 would also be helpful. Seeing Twilight’s star in that one room was a nice touch. It just needed a little better pacing. I loved the travels so much that when we went back to scenes of Sprout in Maritime Bay I hated it. So waiting to see what else happens now.
