CROSSOVER KING

Sometimes, I remember it one way. Sometimes, another. If I am going to have a past, then I prefer it to be multiple choice.

I recently couldn't help but remember something regarding the MCU.

Before Chadwick Boseman died, I was pretty chill with the fact that T'Challa was among the many who were disintegrated by Thanos, mainly because I knew the character would come back in the next film somehow and remembered that they were making a second Black Panther movie.

Nowadays, though...I can't help but wish that T'Challa wasn't among the many who got blipped. I get why Marvel doesn't want to recast T'Challa, and I agree that Boseman truly owned the role. However, the character himself will also be gone too soon because of Marvel's decision to not recast the character, and I'm not exactly confidant that excluding the character entirely will work out for the sequel.

On top of all that, I am extremely curious about how they're planning on explaining the character's absence in the sequel.

My best guess is that he's on a mission with the other Avengers in another country while Shuri takes up the mantle of Black Panther (which also happened in the comics) to defend Wakanda from an invasion by Namor, Doctor Doom, or some other villain.

You think they’ll recast T’Challa when ready?

Not unless they craft a live-action multiverse storyline.
