Sneak peak into September's post!
Chris tore his eyes away from the screen to the puppet that still laid on the table. Accent lines below the off-white fur along its face and body glowed with an archaic green, the chest rising and falling slightly, not nearly as much as an organic being’s, but still noticeable. Along the scalp of the android, pink and purple hairs were beginning to sprout and grow in. Upon closer inspection, movement could even be spotted beneath the eyelids, almost as if to simulate deep sleep.
“Really, Miss Rarity, there’s no need to go through all this trouble.” Luster’s ears perked up a little at the young voice, like chimes in a gentle breeze. Standing on a pedestal stood Princess Flurry Heart, her slim, beautiful body out of sight yet complemented by a gorgeous dress. The bulk of the dress was a baby blue satin overlaid with transparent, holographic organza. The dress began with a sweetheart neckline that led down into two bishop-style sleeves and a fitted bodice. The skirt started at the middle of her waist and fluffed out in a traditional ball gown. Under the superficial organza and blue layers of the dress was a generous collection of ruffled pink tulle. The entire ensemble was peppered with hot pink, dark blue, and white rhinestones, focusing on areas like the ends of the sleeves, the top of the bodice, and the waistline. It was truly a sight to behold.
I apologize for the late upload, everyone. If you read the author's notes at the end of the last chapter of When The Bass Drops, you'll know I was in a pretty serious car accident, but luckily I only received minor injuries but it was still quite shaking.
