So yeah, Space Wars Day or whatever

Honestly I've been checked out on Star Wars for a long time: longer than before the new trilogy came around to sour it even further. I mean I technically still write Star Wars, though it's nothing that can be accepted by any ol' fan. For one thing, the Ssi-Ruuk are regularly represented, and another is that they're not presented as their original selves. Still a shame they're so under-utilized in

    Positive Vibes

So something curious has just happened: I just got done watching the South Park Post-Covid two part special, and it has put me in a very positive and hopeful mindset. Yeah: South Park of all things giving me the feel-goods. Like legitimate fuzzies about things working out.

So about Centaurworld · 11:10pm Aug 13th, 2021

Do any of you know about this? I saw a bunch of videos mention it on YouTube, and as most of them sung praise for it and it looked weird enough, and after reading the general premise, I thought I'd give it a watch. And holy Bob was it crisp! Like, all ten episodes had exceptional animation quality that made the characters and all the weirdness really pop. And boy is it weird, especially with the characters. But it's an endearing weird, for all their quirks and insanity. Wamawink is an absolute MVP for the majority of the show (yes, a whole bunch of weird names at that). Also going in, I hadn't expected this thing to be a full-blown musical. As in, there's no fewer than three songs per episode, and 80% of them are absolute bangers, and some of the sequences are real showstoppers! I'm being purposely vague because I'd like you guys to go see it for yourselves if you haven't. It's on Netflix, and I have to say I'm looking forward to a second season (hopefully it'll get one, and possibly much sooner than the second season of Tuca & Bertie)

I've been hearing the name crop up here and there. I even tried watching the first episode but noped out at the song. I didn't even know what the characters' names were, or where they were, or the situation at hand, and you're trying to give me a song? You gotta earn that shit. :|

Then I guess you're not a fan of most Disney films :ajsmug:

You got that right: this one has integrity :P
(Also, I'd understand wanting to duck out in the first two minutes of the FiM movie on those grounds, but this? Eh, to each their own I suppose)
