Long Description:

Plagued by nightmares she doesn't understand, innocent Sweetie Belle otherwise thought she was living a normal life in Ponyville until she assisted Starlight Glimmer with a magical experiment that has the intended purpose of not only reviving the Cutie Map, but also improve its function. During the experiment, however, several things go unexpectedly wrong. While focusing on her new coltfriend Button Mash, his cutie mark unexpectedly and alarmingly gets relocated to the Everfree Forest. Not only that, but Sweetie Belle also suffers an existential crisis when she accidentally learns that she is, in fact, an evil changeling.

For me, this story will be a first in many regards. This story will be the first with the horror and mystery genre, for example. This story will also have very little relation to my other stories except for one little thing that canonically links it to my other stories. I want to see if it gets a better reception over some of my previous stories if I change my approach.

In the case of this story, I think I'll actually add genre tags as they become appropriate while also noting their addition in the author's note of each chapter and/or change in rating status.

The current plan is to post the first chapter next Saturday on the absolute last day of this month, July 31st. For the moment my plan is to post another chapter each Saturday.
