    Well... that was stupid

It came like a comet in the night, and like a flash, it was gone. It was like watching a dwarf hamster sodomize a great dane, it was obscene to watch as was their rats intent, but ultimately the dog didn't wake up and let the rodent wear itself out and was ultimately so inconsequential it was seen as a passing case of the squirts.

Cynicism vs Optimism · 5:40pm Jul 23rd, 2021

So, recently, this came out

Which made me think of

The contrast is interesting, I think. While both are the same genre, theres a decided cynicism in the former. Humanity has failed, there is no hope, make way, so says iron maiden, for the Glory of Transhumanism! (or unleashing human potential and creativity, but I'm more inclined to the first theory since the "savior" or prophet or whatever left the gathered throng to, one assumes, to starve in a blighted hellscape.) The other says the same, but theres still hope.

The most glaring difference though I think though is that Wonder Weeb "saved" humans where as Vengeful gave them a way to save themselves.

... Also why a samurai? Seriously:facehoof: Why not a Templar, it would be, at the very, thematically consistent and less historically ignorant
